As part of National Volunteers' Week (1st to 7th June). Volunteer Centre Gravesham held a "Celebration of Volunteering" event, which encorporated their AGM.
The event took place over three days, from Friday 4th June, to Sunday 6th June. This was a weekend of opportunities to recognise, reward and recruit volunteers who give freely of their time, energy and skills to help others.

Volunteer Centre Manager Jenny Lane says of the 3-day Celebration Event:
"We were fortunately blessed with beautiful weather over the three days and we were pleased with the feedback we received about the event from organisations and volunteers who attended. Hopefully we can repeat the whole thing again next year as certainly the organisations we got together were keen to be involved in future events, and we did attract new people (both volunteers and organisations) by hosting this event".
